Position: Java Backend Developer - AI Tools & Agentic AI Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Total Experience: 6 - 8 years Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with AI Tools/Agentic AI experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, and modern AI development tools. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java.Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems and production-grade services.Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Work with relational and document-oriented databases.Develop and maintain solutions in Linux/Unix environments, including scripting.Develop and integrate Agentic AI solutions and AI development tools into backend applications.Follow Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and code-quality best practices.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
