Software Engineer III, Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in either C++ or Java or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.Experience developing accessible technologies. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable. Responsibilities Create a unified logging system for home and health to ensure consistent logs that are joinable into sessions. Reduce the barrier for teams to log information that will help during debugging. Scale health infrastructure to more users. Future product launches this year have the potential for our user base to dramatically increase and it is the team’s missions to identify scaling bottlenecks ahead of time and remove them. Monitor, track and increase efficiency of TPU usage in Health. Write clean generalizable code and help promote a culture of pragmatic support for the teams who use our platform.
