Front-End Developer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension). Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate! Experience: 6-8 years. Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office Your Profile & DNA: We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to high-traffic, customer-facing digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, SASS/CSS, Nx monorepos, and Jest, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and Next.js.Develop reusable, maintainable, and high-quality frontend components using JavaScript and TypeScript.Work with SASS/CSS to create consistent and responsive user interfaces.Develop and maintain applications within an Nx monorepo environment.Implement automated testing using Jest.Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and frontend best practices.Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.Work on high-traffic customer-facing platforms, including booking flows, customer portals, and online check-in systems.Ensure applications deliver excellent performance, reliability, accessibility, and user experience.Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Qualification & Experience A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.Strong professional experience as a Front-End DeveloperStrong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScriptStrong knowledge of SASS/CSSHands-on experience with ReactHands-on experience with Next.jsExperience working with Nx monoreposExperience with automated testing using JestExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience building applications for high-traffic platformsStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience working on high-volume, customer-facing platforms such as: Booking and reservation flowsCustomer portalsOnline check-in systemsE-commerce or transactional platformsOther high-traffic web applications What do we offer?
