This is an opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team, work closely with experienced technical leaders, and take meaningful ownership of products that are transforming the healthcare and fintech ecosystem. 📍 Location: New York, NY 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid — 4 days in office, Wednesdays remote 💼 Job Type: Full-Time 💰 Base Salary: $160,000 – $240,000 + Bonus + Equity + Benefits 🔹 What You'll Do Build and enhance backend systems powering innovative fintech and SaaS products. Design database schemas and APIs for small-to-medium-sized features. Develop scalable, reliable backend features following engineering best practices. Work closely with Customer Support to investigate and resolve customer-reported technical issues. Estimate development work and proactively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver against an ambitious product roadmap. Take ownership of technical challenges and contribute to architectural decisions. Help build products that serve businesses across the United States. 🔹 What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript. 5+ years of experience with Node.js. 2+ years of experience with Express.js. 5+ years of experience working with APIs. 1+ year of experience building fintech backend APIs. 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. 2+ years of experience with software architecture and system design. 1+ year of experience building fintech web applications. Experience working in Fintech, financial services, marketplaces, or related technology environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges as opportunities to improve. A self-starter mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture and take ownership. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
