Intermediate Software Developer

Intermediate Software Developer Stelvio are working with a client looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to join an established technology tea m.You’ll be joining a business that develops technology-led solutions for complex, real-world environments. Working alongside senior developers, architects, project managers, and wider cross-functional teams, you’ll help design, develop, and maintain high-quality software application s.This is a hands-on development role where you’ll contribute across the software lifecycle, from technical design and development through to code reviews, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement s. In this role, you w ill:Design, develop, test, and debug software applications in line with project requirements.Build efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in collaboration with other developers.Contribute to technical design discussions and software architecture.Create and maintain technical documentation.Participate in code reviews to support high coding standards and software quality.Provide constructive technical feedback to other team members.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues.Maintain and update existing software applications.Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines.Communicate progress clearly and escalate issues where required.Keep up to date with emerging technologies and relevant industry developments.Continue developing your technical knowledge and capabilit ies.Qualificat ions A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of software development experience.Full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.Proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with web development frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, or Node.js.Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environ ment. Preferred exper ience:Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance princ iples.
