Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Engineer responsible for the design, build, automation, administration, security, and operational support of enterprise Azure infrastructure and Databricks platforms.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with deep experience deploying and supporting Azure IaaS services, Windows Server environments, infrastructure automation, and Databricks platforms.
This role requires strong cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, and troubleshooting skills.
This is an engineering-focused role — the successful candidate will be expected to design, build, script, automate, deploy, and support cloud platforms throughout their lifecycle rather than perform only operational support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure environments in both Windows and Linux.Build production-grade Azure environments from the ground up across Development, QA, Production, and Disaster Recovery platforms.Deploy, configure, secure, and support Azure Databricks workspaces and supporting platform services.Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Backup, and Disaster Recovery solutions.Design and implement highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, networking, security, and performance issues.Implement cloud security controls, governance standards, and operational best practices.Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives.Develop and maintain operational standards, procedures, documentation, and technical runbooks.
DevOps, Automation & Platform Engineering
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bicep, or similar technologies.Build automated deployment and configuration frameworks for Azure infrastructure and Databricks platforms.Create reusable deployment templates and automated build processes.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure deployments, platform upgrades, and configuration management.Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring, compliance validation, disaster recovery testing, and operational activities.Develop PowerShell and Python automation to reduce manual effort and improve platform consistency.Maintain source-controlled deployment artifacts and infrastructure code using Git-based workflows.Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Application, and Architecture teams to deliver automated platform solutions.

Preferred Skills
Azure certification or other relevant cloud certifications (nice to have).
Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate required.
Required Experience
7 years of infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering experience.Experience building enterprise Azure environments from scratch.Experience working within DevOps organizations using infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices.Senior-level candidates with 8–10 years of overall experience are strongly preferred.
