Your Profile & DNA:
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure to join our engineering team in Amsterdam.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs and backend services.Build cloud-native applications and deploy services on Microsoft Azure.Design and implement scalable, resilient, and highly available distributed systems.Apply software engineering best practices including clean code, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code reviews.Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.Troubleshoot performance, integration, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders.Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21Deep expertise in Spring BootStrong experience in Microservices architectureHands-on experience with Microsoft AzureStrong knowledge of REST APIs and distributed systemsExperience designing and developing scalable and high-performance backend applicationsStrong understanding of cloud-native application developmentExperience with automated testing and software development best practices
