A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC CLIENT: Our client is a mission-driven company offering a white-glove service to students in need, more specifically to 3 core student markets: those experiencing homelessness or lack of a permanent home (including those in the foster system), students in rural communities, and students with special needs. Established over 20 years ago, the company combines two decades of profitable stability with recent backing from a top-tier private equity firm to accelerate nationwide market expansion. They are scaling their ~300-person organization rapidly, expanding their core engineering team from 30 to 50+ out of their Denver Tech Center headquarters (4-day in-office hybrid model). From an engineering perspective, the company is executing a ground-up platform modernization, converting a legacy monolith into distributed, real-time .NET 8 microservices hosted on Azure and Kubernetes. Developers solve high-stakes, real-time logistics and data compliance challenges, including 24/7 AI-powered routing optimization, live GPS synchronization, and multi-tenant mobile/web applications. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU You are a hands-on, autonomous Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer who operates under a "see a need, fill a need" mindset. You thrive on building infrastructure automation, containerized ecosystems, and self-service developer platforms that eliminate developer friction and reduce support overhead. You bring strong problem-solving momentum and enjoy consolidating tooling to build a clear "single pane of glass" view across production environments. REQUIREMENTS: 2–4+ years of experience in Azure DevOps or Azure Cloud EngineeringHands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS networking), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)Proven CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD alongside Helm and KustomizeExperience with tooling and observability consolidation (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Datadog)Basic scripting proficiency in Bash or PythonAI-forward approach (utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or MCP servers to accelerate workflows and information gathering) NICE TO HAVE: Experience maintaining or supporting legacy Azure Service Fabric clustersExposure to service mesh technologies (Istio), ingress controllers (Traefik), or security policy tools (Kyverno) LOCATION Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center). Hybrid work model requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. SALARY / BENEFITS Our client is looking to pay in the 110K - 140K base range (with potential flex up to 150K for an exceptional candidate.
