Description
Company Description Matrix OS is building a personal AI that creates software on your behalf, remembers your preferences, and operates seamlessly across all your devices.
The product is designed so users need no coding experience while retaining full ownership of their data and software.
Matrix OS is currently in early access, offering an opportunity to shape the core platform and user experience from the ground up.
Joining the team means working on foundational technology at the intersection of AI, productivity, and personal computing.
Role Description As a Founding Software Engineer at Matrix OS, you will architect, design, and build core systems that power a personal AI capable of generating software and interacting across devices.
You will work closely with the founding team to define technical direction, select tools and frameworks, and implement scalable, secure infrastructure and user-facing features.
Day-to-day, you will write high-quality code, perform code reviews, prototype new capabilities, integrate AI models and services, and improve performance and reliability across the stack.
You will collaborate on product decisions, contribute to documentation and testing practices, and help establish engineering standards and culture.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
