Description

At WeConnect, we don’t care how many years you’ve worked. We care about what you’ve built. We’re looking for someone at the beginning of their software engineering journey who genuinely enjoys creating things. Maybe you’ve just graduated. Maybe you have some years of experience. What matters is that you’ve already built projects on your own and you have code you can show us. You’ll help us develop MyDataEase and Conectadora, our SaaS platforms for electronic invoicing, ERP integrations, marketplaces integrations, APIs and real-world business processes. This is mainly a backend role, working with Python, PostgreSQL, Go, APIs, Docker and Azure. But this is not just about code. Our software deals with invoices, accounting, ERPs, warehouses, tax authorities and business rules. We believe good engineers need to understand the business behind the software they build. You don’t need accounting knowledge today, but you need to be curious and willing to learn it. We’re also taking our first steps into Machine Learning and looking for people who are excited to explore where it can add real value. What we’re looking for Personal, academic or any project you can show us Good programming fundamentals and understanding of databases Familiarity with Git Curiosity about SaaS, cloud technologies and software architecture Interest in understanding how businesses actually work Willingness to learn accounting and ERP concepts Good Greek and English Degree, or final-year studies, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or another relevant STEM field Professional experience is welcome, but initiative, curiosity and the ability to learn matter more. What you’ll find here Real software used by customers in Greece and abroad A small team where your work has visible impact Exposure to backend development, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure and business systems Space to experiment, ask questions and propose better ways of doing things A culture of support, humor and zero blame If you’re looking for someone to tell you exactly what to code every day, this may not be the place. If you enjoy understanding problems, building things and learning as you go, we’d love to hear from you. Our process The process includes interviews, discussion around projects you’ve built, practical exercises and a conversation with the development team.
