About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong focus on frontend engineering to join our dynamic team.
In this strategic role, you will define and lead the development of accessible, performant, and user-centered web applications tailored for government customers.
You will serve as a technical authority and thought leader in frontend architecture, driving best practices, tooling, and skillset enhancements across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include designing modern frontend architectures, implementing development pipelines, and deploying infrastructure that supports high-quality, scalable applications.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver innovative UI/UX solutions that adhere to accessibility standards such as Section 508 and WCAG.

Qualifications
Proven experience in frontend engineering with a strong portfolio of accessible, scalable web applicationsExtensive experience architecting and implementing modern frontend applications using React and/or AngularDeep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508) and practical implementation skillsStrong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and web platform APIsExperience with frontend build tools and deployment pipelines (Webpack, Vite, npm, pnpm, etc.)Knowledge of automated testing strategies including unit, component, and end-to-end testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)Experience with design systems, component libraries, and maintaining UI consistency across multiple applicationsFamiliarity with web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and frontend monitoringUnderstanding of API integration patterns such as REST and GraphQL, and working with backend servicesExperience establishing CI/CD pipelines with automated accessibility checks, linting, and testingStrong product thinking, user-centered design principles, and collaboration skillsExcellent leadership, mentorship, and communication capabilitiesMust be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
