Description

Build AI-powered property management systems that handle real portfolios across Australia and the US. You'll work across the full stack building features that directly impact how properties are managed. This means writing TypeScript for both Next.js frontends and Node.js backends, plus integrating AI agents that automate workflows. You'll own features end-to-end and help shape how AI systems interact with users. This role is hybrid working, one day per week in the Melbourne office. The tech stack is modern throughout - Next.js with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui on the frontend, Express.js on the backend, plus AI orchestration systems and MCP servers. No legacy code to wrestle with. The team ships daily and moves fast, so you'll see your work go live quickly. This is a startup environment where you'll have real ownership from day one. You'll contribute to architecture decisions and work directly with a lean engineering team. The company is scaling their Australian presence after establishing themselves in the US market. What You'll Do: - Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js - Integrate AI agents and orchestration systems into property management workflows - Collaborate on architecture decisions and technical direction with the engineering team - Write clean, scalable code that handles real property portfolios and user workflows What You'll Need: - 2-4 years experience as a full-stack or backend-leaning engineer - Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals with React/Next.js and Node.js experience - Experience building real-world products beyond small features - Comfortable working across the full stack from frontend to backend systems About the Company: They're building AI-driven property management systems at the intersection of proptech and artificial intelligence.
