If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you~ Are you FIS? About The Role As a Site Reliability Engineer you will serve as the SME for our application hosted in the APAC region. This role will require a professional who excels in both independent work and collaborative efforts across our global team and companion teams. You will be supporting a newly onboarded client and will be responsible for several high availability leveraged applications used by both internal applications and external facing APIs. This technology is used by major banking clients in Australia. In this role you will be~ Focusing on scalability, high availability, performance, stability and reliability of software applicationsYou will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure positive end user experiencesYou will apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline and mature automation to our operating environment and codebase What You Bring To excel in this role you will have~ At least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) roleExperience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g., Azure, AWS, GCPStrong Knowledge in Tools like Azure Metrics, log Analytics, Cloud Watch, Cloud Guard and ability to create Dashboards and AlertsGood experience in Linux commandsGood experience in Kubernetes Management, Deployment strategies and best practicesAbility to Automate repetitive tasks (using Scripting / automation tools)Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation)Knowledge in DevOPS (CI/CD) and relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOPS)Strong knowledge in shell script developmentExperience in Cluster upgrade, Patching, DR exercise (Cluster, Storage Account, and other services)Ability to create KQL queries for different use cases to extract data from log analyticsStrong knowledge in Helm and helm developmentKnowledge in tools like Jira, Bitbucket and confluence Bonus If You Have Banking sector experience What We Offer You At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
