Software/DevOps Engineer
Hybrid/Gloucestershire or Manchester
We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join a large-scale programme supporting the development, deployment and ongoing operation of a bespoke Node.js application.
Candidates must have experience with recent Central Gov or Defence projects, within highly regulated environments.
The successful candidates will have strong experience across:
OpenShiftKubernetesDockerNode.jsJavaScriptCI/CD pipelinesDevOps automation and deployment practicesCloud and infrastructure environmentsProduction and non-production supportApplication reliability, performance and security
You will work closely with software developers, engineers, architects and technical leads to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate operational processes, troubleshoot environments and continuously improve the software delivery lifecycle.
We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of DevOps principles, containerisation, orchestration and automated software delivery, together with experience working in secure and highly controlled environments.
Permanent opportunity with hybrid working in the Southwest, with 3 days per week onsite.
