Your main responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation solutions in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.Automating software deployment processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of configuration management and orchestration practices.Developing, maintaining and optimizing automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, with particular attention to performance, reliability and maintainability.Managing and improving CI/CD environments based on Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, RHEL and Windows.Analysing deployment, integration and infrastructure-related issues and implementing sustainable and robust corrective solutions.Developing and maintaining scripts and automation tools using technologies such as Bash, PowerShell, Python or Ruby.Contributing to the design and architecture of automation solutions across both cloud and on-premise environments.Supporting and improving configuration management and deployment practices, including Jenkins logic, Puppet modules, GitOps and Gitflow-based workflows.Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, sustainable and understandable automation solutions.Once fully operational in the role, occasionally supporting deployments outside standard working hours.
Required skills:
You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent extensive professional experience.You have at least 8 years of professional experience in DevOps or Software Engineering, with significant exposure to automation.You have at least 2 years of experience in a highly regulated environment such as Aerospace, Finance or a comparable industry.You have administrator-level proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, RHEL and Windows.You have extensive hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, particularly regarding performance and optimization.You have strong scripting skills, ideally with Bash, PowerShell, Python and/or Ruby.You have experience with security-related topics in complex cloud and on-premise network environments.You have experience with at least one major programming language, preferably Java or C++.You have strong software design and architecture skills.Experience developing custom Puppet modules or advanced Jenkins logic is an asset.Knowledge of monorepository structures, GitLab/GitHub Actions and Runners, GitOps and Gitflow methodologies is an asset.You are familiar with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
