The company is headquartered in Amsterdam and founded by industry professionals Alexander & Thomas. Role Description The Systems Engineering Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Amsterdam. This position supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of Entual’s AI-native platform architecture, working closely with product, engineering, and external relations teams to ensure reliable, scalable systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing system requirements, assisting in infrastructure design, documenting technical processes, and supporting integration across the platform’s modules. The associate will collaborate on testing and troubleshooting, contribute to process improvements, and help coordinate small projects or workstreams to keep deployments and updates on schedule. The role involves clear communication with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into technical solutions and maintain a robust operating environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to assess system performance, interpret data, and support informed decision-making.Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document technical concepts clearly and accessibly.Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to help coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and contribute to organized delivery of system enhancements.Candidates should possess knowledge of Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical education, with an interest in systems and infrastructure.Candidates should ideally have familiarity with software or systems engineering concepts, basic understanding of cloud-based architectures, and comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn new tools and methods in an AI-driven context are highly beneficial.
