Description

🔷 About StrategyBridge Who we are We're setting new standards in corporate finance. With a focused team of 30 — one in four of us a former founder — we combine deep expertise in finance, data science and AI to build THE platform for deal & advisory teams, strategy departments, auditors and banks. We're one of the fastest-growing startups in the DACH-region and now scaling internationally. Our ambition is clear: to set the global standard. Our Culture Ownership. You own your topics end to end, from idea to shipped.Strong opinions, loosely held. We argue hard about the right solution, then commit together.Simple beats clever. The simplest thing that solves the problem wins. We'd rather ship clear code than impressive code.Leave it better than you found it. Speed is a priority, but we don't trade it for technical debt that kills future velocity. We build simple, modular systems that are easy for the next person (or future you) to understand.Mistakes are a gift. We make mistakes and learn from them. The one thing we avoid is making the same one twice.Serious about the work, not about ourselves. We take our goals seriously, ourselves less so. 🔷 The role: Full-Stack Engineer (React/Python) - Frontend-Focus Small team, high bar. You'll help shape how our product looks and behaves for corporate finance teams who use it every day — taking features from idea to production with the motivation and ownership of a founder. We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of professional experience. Your responsibilities will include: Challenge the 'why' behind a feature. You think about the edge cases of an M&A workflow and how a user will actually interact with data-heavy dashboards.Design and ship end-to-end features used by thousands of financial professionalsBuild backend services in Python and design clean, efficient APIs and data flows.Contribute to critical software design and architecture decisionsCollaborate directly with clients and internal teams to understand needs and turn them into featuresBring an eye for design and usability: you know what “good UI” feels like and how to get there.Maintain a clear overview of our systems, addressing technical debt while ensuring performance, accessibility, and long-term scalability.Take ownership from concept to deployment, continuously improving our stack. 🔷 Qualifications - to be successful in this role, you will need: Must-haves We expect the motivation and ownership of a founder. You own problems end-to-end and care more about the user outcome than your ticket description.2+ years of professional experience with proven track-record designing & developing scalable and reliable software.Technical fluency, including TS / React / Next.js and TailwindCSS. You understand what’s happening "under the hood" of your framework and state management (Zustand/React Query).Proficiency in Python. You can build and maintain the APIs and services your frontend relies on.Hands-on experience working with SQL & NoSQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Experience handling complex, data-heavy applications. You know how to keep things responsive when dealing with large datasets. You use AI/LLM tools to move faster, but you have the technical depth to audit their output and maintain high code quality. No "AI slop".You've built with LLMs in production — and know the difference between a demo and something users can actually rely on. Strong communication and structured problem-solving skills.Degree in CS, Math, Physics, or equivalent practical experience. Nice-to-haves Experience in fintech and data-intensive applicationsExperience optimizing application performance at both frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Python/Databases) layersFounding-experience - entrepreneurial drive, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity.Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark) & data orchestration tools (e.g. Dagster) 🔷 What we offer Responsibility from day one: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and the room to actually shape the product.Upside: competitive compensation - base + bonus + VSOP - you share in the upside, not just the workload.Learning curve: one of the steepest you’ll find in Germany. Not an empty claim — ask the team.People: Build with experts from Big Tech, Silicon Valley, Investment Banking, and Hedge Funds.Setup: Munich, hybrid. Modern office, EGYM Wellpass, team events, tax-free benefits.Relocation: company apartment in Munich available on request. Language English is our company language; German is nice to have. Hiring process Intro chat → Technical deep dive → Case Study & Team interviews → Offer. We value your time & move fast. Equal Opportunity We’re an equal-opportunity employer. This role is open to all genders (m/f/x). We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
