Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with deep React expertise to build modular, accessible, and high-performing web applications. You will take ownership of user interface architecture, contribute to microfrontend (MFE) strategies that enable scalable and independently deployable UI modules, and implement clean state management solutions. Experience with map rendering libraries such as Leaflet or React-Leaflet is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities ● Design, build, and maintain scalable UI component libraries using modern React and TypeScript. ● Contribute to or lead micro-frontend implementations using Module Federation or equivalent strategies, enabling composable and independently deployable React applications within a shared host shell. ● State Management: Implement efficient global and server state strategies (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, eact Query, or equivalent). ● Interactive Features: Integrate mapping solutions (Leaflet / React-Leaflet) for rendering interactive maps, custom markers, and complex geospatial layer overlays. ● Optimize application performance through caching, code splitting, dynamic imports, and virtualized lists for large datasets. ● Establish testing suites using Jest, enforcing code quality via ESLint and Prettier. ● Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs, collaborate with UX designers, and mentor team members in React best practices. Required Qualifications ● 5+ years of software development experience with a heavy focus on React. ● Deep knowledge of modern React core concepts, TypeScript, and browser performance fundamentals. ● Experience in unit and component testing using Jest. ● Demonstrated mastery of frontend debugging, memory management, and rendering optimization. ● Familiarity with consuming REST APIs and managing complex UI lifecycles. ● Working knowledge of micro-frontend patterns and Module Federation. Nice-to-Have Skills ● Experience with Leaflet, React-Leaflet, or Mapbox GL JS for interactive GIS features. ● Familiarity with Cesium.js for 3D geospatial and terrain visualization. ● Familiarity with design systems or Tailwind CSS. ● Experience with Nx monorepos for multi-app workspace management.
