An opportunity is available for a DevOps Engineer to support Linux-based infrastructure, automation, and platform operations within a technical environment.
The role focuses on system administration, infrastructure automation, performance optimisation, and maintaining reliable production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Linux environments (Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS)
• Develop automation solutions using scripting and configuration management tools
• Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Puppet, Ansible, Foreman, or Katello
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git
• Monitor infrastructure performance and support observability initiatives
• Support virtualisation technologies and identity management solutions
• Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases
• Identify infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation
• Lead technical infrastructure projects from design through implementation
• Support 24/7 operational environments and collaborate with global teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience (Oracle Linux, RHEL, or CentOS)
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, and/or Go
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Foreman, or Katello
• Experience using Git for version control
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with VMware, Centrify, and Windows Active Directory
