About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Schwarz Digits. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the next generation of our STACKIT Storage products, including Object Storage solutions. Your expertise in Golang, cloud architectures, and modern communication technologies will help us build scalable, reliable, and automated storage services that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will lead a talented team of developers, guiding them towards technical excellence while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration and delivery. Qualifications Several years of professional experience in software development, particularly with Golang.Strong knowledge of cloud environments and architecture, including experience with Kubernetes.Proficiency in interface and communication technologies such as REST and gRPC.Experience with database systems, especially PostgreSQL.Familiarity with build and release management, development standards, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent problem-solving skills with a quick grasp of new technologies.Strong communication skills in both German and English, enabling effective collaboration within international, agile teams.Interest in IT infrastructure, storage services, and highly automated environments.Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide development teams towards continuous improvement. Responsibilities Design and develop the future of key STACKIT Storage products, managing their entire lifecycle from conception to deployment.Collaborate with the team to create highly automated self-service storage solutions utilizing REST APIs within Kubernetes-based environments.Lead the team towards technical excellence by setting high standards for code quality, architecture, and best practices.Develop and refine the software architecture in partnership with team members to ensure long-term stability, scalability, and reliability.Coordinate technical and functional integration efforts with other STACKIT services to ensure seamless product ecosystem integration.Take end-to-end responsibility for product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous enhancement of services.Support the product owner in evaluating customer requirements and translating them into strategic technical implementations.Contribute to the planning and prioritization of the product roadmap to align with business goals and customer needs.
