Job Summary Seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support mission-critical customer requirementsThe successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of UI developers while remaining hands-on throughout the full software development lifecycleThis role requires strong front-end architecture and development experience, the ability to translate UX/UI designs into accessible production-ready interfaces, and the technical breadth to contribute to backend services, APIs, data stores, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines as needed Primary Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical direction, coding standards, design guidance, and code reviewArchitect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern web frameworks and reusable component patternsTranslate UX/UI prototypes, wireframes, and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible production interfacesDevelop, maintain, and enhance software based on documented system and user requirementsAnalyze user requirements to derive software design, interface, functional, and performance requirementsCollaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs and ensure efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systemsContribute to full-stack development as required, including backend services, databases, infrastructure, and deployment pipelinesReview and test software components for adherence to design and functional requirements and document test resultsDebug existing software, resolve software problem reports, and correct defectsEstablish and enforce front-end coding standards, best practices, and component reusePartner with UX/UI designers, systems engineers, product stakeholders, and mission customers to ensure design intent and mission requirements are preserved through implementationIdentify and resolve application performance bottlenecks, cross-browser compatibility issues, and technical debtParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical estimation, architectural reviews, and other Agile ceremoniesSupport integration of existing software into new or modified systems and operating environmentsDevelop or implement algorithms needed to meet system functional and performance standardsProvide technical input regarding hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and use of COTS/GOTS solutions in place of new developmentPerform requirements analysis and decomposition from system-level requirements to individual software componentsEnsure developed interfaces comply with applicable accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and WCAG standardsWrite and maintain software, system, interface, and technical documentation Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphBachelor's degree in related technical fieldProven experience leading, mentoring, or providing technical direction to software development teamsStrong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or VueStrong proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptDemonstrated experience designing front-end architectures and reusable component frameworksExperience translating UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible, production-ready applicationsFull-stack software development experience, including integration with backend services and APIsBackend development experience using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or JavaExperience designing and integrating APIs and data flows between front-end and backend systemsExperience reviewing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting complex software componentsExperience working throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile environmentStrong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills Desired Qualifications Ansible and/or SaltTerraform, particularly for lane or environment developmentWebSocketsJBLOCKSCASPORTNeo4jCI/CD pipelines and automated software deliveryContainerized and cloud-based application environmentsGraph database technologiesSecure application development in classified or mission environmentsSection 508 / WCAG accessibility implementation and testingCOTS/GOTS integration and software reusePerformance optimization and scalable application design Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The Pay Range For This Role Is 180,000 - 240,000 USD per year(AJ6)
