About The Role The DevOps Engineer role at Revybe IT Recruitment Ltd offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely within the UK for a dynamic and rapidly expanding FinTech scale-up. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be instrumental in designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and enhancing platform security. This role provides a unique chance to work across a broad technology stack, including AWS services, infrastructure as code, networking, and security tools. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and product management, to ensure the platform's resilience, security, and performance. Qualifications Proven experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, and related cloud technologies.Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads.Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.Knowledge of cloud security best practices, platform hardening, and security tooling integration (SIEM, DLP).Experience managing identity and access controls, such as AWS IAM and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.Hands-on experience working with MongoDB in a production environment.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Rust.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.Leverage AWS services including EC2, Lambda, and others to optimize platform performance.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.Manage AWS networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing configurations.Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform, adhering to Infrastructure as Code best practices.Implement security measures, including platform hardening, security controls, and compliance protocols.Integrate cloud infrastructure with security tools like SIEM and DLP solutions to enhance platform security posture.Manage identity and access controls, ensuring least-privilege principles through IAM and SSO configurations.Monitor platform performance, security, and resilience, implementing improvements as needed.Support and optimize MongoDB environments for performance and reliability.Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to improve deployment workflows and developer experience.Contribute to the evolution of DevOps practices and cloud engineering standards as the company scales.
