You'll bring our values to life by: Designing, developing, testing and maintaining high-quality backend applications and services.Delivering secure, scalable and well-architected solutions that align with engineering best practices.Building and enhancing platform features that meet both customer and business needs.Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to deliver frequent and reliable releases.Participating in code reviews and driving continuous improvement in code quality and development practices.Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to platform stability, resilience and performance.Participating in the after-hours support roster as required.Automating manual processes and identifying opportunities to improve engineering efficiency.Sharing knowledge across the engineering team and supporting the growth of fellow developers.Proactively identifying, managing and escalating technical risks and issues. What you'll bring: Strong experience in backend software development, ideally with PHP.Experience working with Symfony, Laravel or another modern web framework.Experience designing and building REST APIs.Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.Experience using Git and CI/CD practices.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly within production environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.The ability to work autonomously while remaining an active and engaged team member.A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
