Software Engineer

About the Role We are looking for 1 FIS Engineer to join our technology team and support web-based projects focused on dashboard development, reporting, and report automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, database management, reporting automation, and data visualization. This role will work with business and technical teams to develop efficient reporting solutions, automate manual processes, and transform data into meaningful dashboards and insights. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing development tasks, and taking a lead role when required. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications and solutions supporting reporting and business intelligence initiatives.Design and implement automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.Develop and maintain databases, queries, stored procedures, and other database components using MS SQL Server.Develop web applications and APIs using .NET Core, Web API, and C#.Build and enhance front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.Design, develop, and automate reports using various reporting and data analysis tools.Create and maintain automated reporting workflows using Solver, Power Query, and advanced Excel.Develop and maintain complex Excel-based reports, models, calculations, and automation.Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards that provide meaningful business insights.Translate business reporting requirements into effective technical and data-driven solutions.Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, data requirements, and dashboard objectives.Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and dashboards.Troubleshoot issues related to applications, databases, reports, and dashboard performance.Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and technology.Document technical solutions, reporting processes, and system configurations.Work independently while taking ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in an Information Technology environment, specializing in Software Development.Proficient in MS SQL Server, database development, and programming.Strong technical knowledge of:.NET CoreWeb APIC#JavaScriptjQueryCSSExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience in report development and automation.Experience using reporting and data analysis tools such as:SolverPower QueryAdvanced Microsoft ExcelStrong experience in designing and developing Power BI dashboards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple development and reporting tasks.Previous experience in a lead role is highly preferred.
