Junior Software Developer Leading SaaS organisation Global Product Hybrid working A Leading SaaS organisation with a global product is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and versatile Junior Software Developer to work across on a range of technology stacks, undertaking both new build, tech migration and maintenance across its suite of product offerings. You’ll have good communication skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow with the role and the company, enjoying exploring new ways to delivering information and knowledge for our customers and helping to ensure our platforms remain beloved by our customers. Job Duties: Design, develop, test and maintain code across all layers, ensuring functional objectives are met and application stability maintained through the creation of automated test suitesWork cohesively within a small agile development teamManage priorities, goals and deliverables across different product-lines and feature-setsEngage in discussions on application architecture as well as overall product roadmapParticipate in code review, test and validation activities, as well as create relevant documentation Skills and Qualifications: Ideal candidate must be a self-motivated software developer with proven experience working with the Microsoft .NET stack, comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organisation with a rapidly expanding customer base. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of qualifications and experienceTwo or more years experience working within a development teamProven experience with C# and both Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET CoreWorking knowledge of relational databases, and in particular of the T-SQL languageCuriosity for technology with a desire to learn new things and solve problemsAbility to use initiative, demonstrate adaptability and take accountability for achieving results, along with strong attention to detail, critical thinking skillsHighly organised with great presentation, communication and documentation skills The following would also be highly advantageous when applying for this role: Experience designing and building RESTful API servicesExperience with either Angular and/or ReactKnowledge of web-based front-end technologies including HTML5, Javascript and CSSExperience with statistical analysis frameworks, natural language and machine learning especially in PythonExperience with development tooling, including Git as well as ticket management solutions Please apply today for immediate consideration
