About The Role We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our agile development teams dedicated to creating innovative production software solutions in the areas of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and IoT. In this role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team comprising frontend, backend, and full-stack developers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance user interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with our product goals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines, contribute to backend tasks if desired, and serve as a key interface to UX design efforts. This position offers a stimulating environment where you can influence the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, while working on challenging projects that shape the future of industrial automation and digital transformation. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Informatics, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification. You should possess solid experience in designing, executing, and documenting software development projects within agile frameworks. Familiarity with the entire development lifecycle, continuous integration, and DevOps practices is essential. Proficiency in web development technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript is required, along with a good sense of UI/UX design principles. Experience with Nx Build System and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, a goal-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently are crucial. Fluency in German and English is necessary to communicate effectively within our international team and with clients. Responsibilities Design and implement innovative and complex IT architectures based on client requirements.Provide expert advice to clients on potential solutions to meet their specific software needs.Take responsibility for the software architecture, design, and ongoing optimization.Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile development processes.Support the technical execution of projects within the context of Industry 4.0, Cloud, and IoT environments.Explore new technologies and topics, deepening your knowledge and skills.Monitor emerging tools and technologies, and assist in their integration if beneficial for products or development workflows.Collaborate closely with UX designers to ensure user-centric interface development.Engage in cross-disciplinary teamwork, sometimes taking on backend responsibilities or other tasks outside core frontend development.
