Application Developer

Essential Duties Include The Following Maintains existing systems and fix defects, as necessary.Automates processes to improve efficiency.Builds tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.Participates in self-organizing teams working toward a common goal.Responds to issues as they arise and partner with Systems Assurance Group to improve monitoring.Performs all other duties as assigned. Serious Candidates Will Possess The Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum three (3) years of professional software development experience.Strong working knowledge of object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles and modern development practices. Demonstrated experience applying SOLID principles and common design patterns to build scalable, maintainable systems.Proven ability to design, develop, test, and maintain applications using multiple programming languages and frameworks, including: C#, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React, T‑SQL, HTML, CSSExperience designing or integrating agentic AI solutions, including task‑oriented or autonomous agents that leverage foundation models, utilize tool/API invocation, maintain context across multi‑step workflows, and operate within enterprise security and governance standards.Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and generative AI platforms, such as Anthropic Claude, AWS AI services (including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and related offerings), GitHub Copilot.Experience integrating or consuming AI/ML models and APIs (e.g., recommendation engines, NLP, classification, forecasting).Understanding of data pipelines, model inputs/outputs, and AI model lifecycle basics.Ability to apply AI techniques to improve developer productivity, automate workflows, enhance user experiences, or improve data insights.Experience querying and manipulating data using relational databases; strong SQL skills required.Exposure to external data storage systems such as file shares, flat files, databases, and cloud storage.Knowledge of current testing frameworks, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices.Willingness to continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities.Ability to participate in operational support and on-call rotations as required.Capable of troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term fixes.Able to sit for extended periods performing computer-based, sedentary work.
