Job Description As the second founding engineer at Joinkyber.com, you will architect the critical coordination layer for global airport ground operations. You will build and scale backend systems and agentic AI that replace manual spreadsheets and radio calls with real-time automation, ensuring aircraft depart on time by orchestrating fragmented data and resource dispatching. Location London, UK Why this role is remarkable Work directly with founders from FIA Formula E performance engineering and Imperial College on mission-critical infrastructure that is already live and operational in North America.Backed by Entrepreneur First (F25), you will be joining a high-velocity team of three at the ground floor with significant ownership and meaningful founding team equity.Solve high-stakes problems where reliability is non-negotiable, replacing outdated manual systems with sophisticated agentic AI in a massive global market. What You Will Do Design, build, and operate production-grade backend systems and cloud architecture on AWS to handle fragmented real-time data feeds.Develop and deploy agentic AI systems that predict the impact of unforeseen events and automatically dispatch staff and resources.Lead technical initiatives including infrastructure setup, CI/CD pipelines, and participation in on-site customer deployments and technical hiring. The ideal candidate 3+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or backend engineering with a proven track record of building and managing complex production architectures.Deep expertise in AWS and infrastructure-as-code, with a passion for designing systems where operational reliability and performance are the highest priority.A founder's mindset characterized by high agency and resilience, likely having previously founded a company or been an early-stage startup employee.
