Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Synthesize operational data into actionable automation insights, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and patterns of operational issues. • Partner with a team of experienced automation design engineers to develop new technologies. • Analyze massive-scale data to provide analytic support for product managers and engineering peers. • Utilize expertise in business analysis, metrics, reporting, and analytic tooling to translate data into meaningful insights. • Own the insights built for the business and play an integral role in tactical decision-making for machine and process design. • Transform raw operational data into actionable automation insights, analyzing performance metrics and identifying patterns in equipment efficiency. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT, or equivalent. • Experience with SQL Server/MySQL, or strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. • Experience demonstrating software engineering skills through internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications. • Experience with a scripting language such as Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, or similar. • Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries. • Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
