DevOps Engineer

An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence sector is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will join a dynamic global team responsible for engineering and integrating new capabilities for critical defence systems, working within an agile environment to enhance leading-edge technologies. What You'll Be Doing Designing, implementing, and maintaining on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth service operations.Automating administrative tasks and workflows using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab to streamline software delivery.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, and project managers.Ensuring the security and reliability of applications through automated testing and configuration management. What We're Looking For Proven experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration.Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix.Ability to obtain required professional certifications and maintain necessary security clearances for site access.
