How You'll Make An Impact You will be an active member of an Agile team creating new product features and enhancements to the Connector SDK to power the various connectors used in Boomi integrations. You will work closely with product and support in delivering these enhancements. With Boomi in the forefront of developing and adopting AI in all facets of engineering, there will be numerous opportunities to be using and developing cutting edge AI features. What You Will Do Participate in design, development and unit testing of Boomi products including enhancements and/or resolution of reported issuesWork independently with minimal guidance from technical leadershipCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverablesInvestigate defects to identify root causes and provide potential solutionsMentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews bullet pointsThe Experience You Bring 5+ years hands-on experience with Java, Advanced Java, JUnit, CI/CD, and Source Control SystemsProven ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with minimal trainingExperience in software architecture design and development, including IDE usage with solid understanding of object-oriented design conceptsExperience with agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceExperience designing well-defined RESTful APIs, API documentation tools like OpenAPI, Lavender, testing tools like Postman and SOAP UIBonus Points If You Have Experience using Linux/Unix environmentsUnderstanding of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL)Experience using DevOps and build tools like Harness, Jenkins, Maven and other CI/CD toolsFamiliarity using AWS technologies such as CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2Familiarity with SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools like HibernateHands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or AWS QAren’t sure if you’re a match? LocationVancouver (Hybrid) Compensation and Benefits Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $129,388 - $161,735 CAD annually + applicable bonus.
