Job Summary: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting the integration between software development, AI models, cloud infrastructure, and robotic systems throughout the development, deployment, and operational lifecycle. In MR. ROBOT's fast-moving environment, the DevOps Engineer focuses on strengthening deployment automation, system reliability, monitoring, and scalability, helping engineering teams move software, AI, and robotics capabilities reliably from development into real-world operational environments. Job Responsibilities: Deployment & Automation Support and improve deployment processes across software, AI models, cloud infrastructure, and robotic systems.Automate repetitive deployment and operational workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.Support software, model, and system updates across development and operationalenvironments.Work with engineering teams to identify and improve deployment workflows as MR. ROBOT's robotics platform grows. Infrastructure & Robotics Environment Manage and maintain infrastructure supporting MR. ROBOT's software, AI, and robotics applications.Support Linux and Docker-based environments used across development and robotics deployment.Support connectivity and communication between cloud infrastructure, servers, edge devices, and deployed robotic systems.Support edge computing environments, including NVIDIA Jetson platforms, where applicable.Assist in maintaining stable and consistent environments across development, testing, and deployment. AI & Robotics Deployment Support Work closely with AI, Robotics, and Software Engineering teams to support deployment of software and AI models into robotic systems.Support integration between cloud-based services, edge computing environments, and deployed robots.Assist engineering teams in diagnosing deployment and infrastructure issues affecting robot AI system performance.Support reliable deployment and updating of robotics applications across different operational environments. System Monitoring & Reliability Support monitoring, logging, and robot-client/server telemetry to improve visibility of deployed system performance.Monitor system availability, performance, resource utilisation, connectivity, and operational health.Investigate infrastructure and deployment-related failures and support root cause analysis.Identify recurring system issues and implement improvements to strengthen system reliability and scalability. Operational Support & Troubleshooting Troubleshoot issues involving system environments, network communication, deployment configurations, servers, and connectivity.Support engineering teams during system testing, deployment, and field troubleshooting where infrastructure involvement is required.Maintain appropriate system configurations and support recovery of services following operational issues.Contribute to reducing system downtime and improving deployment stability. Cross-Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with Software, AI, Robotics Integration, Application Engineering, and Operations teams throughout development and deployment activities.Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering and operational processes.Maintain deployment procedures, infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting guides, and related technical documentation.Share system findings and recurring failure patterns with relevant engineering teams to support continuous improvement. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, software deployment, cloud infrastructure, or a related technical role.Comfortable working with Linux environments.Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised application environments.Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.Understanding of software deployment, servers, networking, APIs, and system environments.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and cloud-based application environments.Understanding of system monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting concepts.Exposure to edge computing or NVIDIA Jetson platforms is an added advantage.Exposure to AI/ML workloads, robotics, IoT, or other distributed systems is an added advantage.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose infrastructure and deployment issues.Comfortable working across software, AI, infrastructure, and robotics environments.Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving technical environment.Strong interest in AI, robotics, and automation technologies is highly desirable.Location: Balakong Industrial Park, Malaysia.
