Network Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Technical support and continuous development of the network and firewall infrastructure for multiple company locations • Design and implementation of secure network architectures in on-premises and cloud environments • Standardization and automation of network resource provisioning • Analysis of existing structures regarding performance, security, availability, and cost-effectiveness • Technical consulting for internal departments and participation in infrastructure, cloud, and security projects • Management of external service providers and technical implementation partners What You'll Need • Several years of professional experience in Network Engineering or Network Security • Profound knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalling, with practical experience in technologies like Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet • Experience with network architectures in a public cloud environment, ideally AWS • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation, preferably with Terraform and CI/CD or DevOps tools • Experience with monitoring and operating highly available network environments • Strong understanding of IT security and a structured, solution-oriented approach • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with departments, management, and external partners • Very good English and German language skills What's On Offer • Competitive annual salary (€75,000 - €90,000) • A responsible expert position with significant technical design freedom • Modern combination of Enterprise Networking, Cloud, Security, and Automation • Individual training and certification opportunities Apply via Haystack today!
