Full Stack Developer

Location: Amman, Jordan Job Description: The Junior Full Stack Developer is responsible for supporting the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of application features across backend, frontend, and database layers. This position is intended for a fresh graduate or early-career professional seeking to build practical experience within a structured development environment while working under the guidance of senior team members and adhering to established coding standards, SDLC processes, and architectural guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Support the development of backend services using C# and .NET CoreAssist in the implementation of frontend components using jQuery, Bootstrap, and Metronic UIContribute to the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs for internal and external useParticipate in implementing business logic within multi-tenant environments under guidanceAssist in maintaining Windows client applications where requiredSupport mobile application tasks as assigned by the Development Team Lead Database & Data Handling: Write and maintain basic SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures with support from senior developersSupport efforts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityFollow best practices for database access, transactions, and data handlingAssist in troubleshooting data-related issues Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, readable, and maintainable code in accordance with team standardsParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback in a timely mannerLearn and follow defined architecture principles and design patternsAssist with improving and refactoring existing code under guidanceApply appropriate error handling, logging, and validation in assigned tasks SDLC & Delivery: Work within Agile/Scrum methodologyParticipate in sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectivesComplete assigned tasks within agreed timelines with support from the teamCollaborate with QA to resolve defects and improve application qualitySupport deployments to QA and UAT environments when required DevOps & Repository Usage: Follow defined branching and merging practicesUse GitHub / Azure DevOps repositories for source controlMaintain clear and traceable commits aligned with assigned work itemsAssist in resolving build issues related to assigned code changes Knowledge Sharing & Documentation: Document assigned modules, APIs, and implemented logicMaintain up-to-date technical documentation for completed workParticipate in knowledge-sharing sessionsCommunicate progress, issues, and understanding of assigned features to team members Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Senior Developers and Development Team LeadCoordinate with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams as neededEscalate blockers, questions, or unclear requirements in a timely mannerCollaborate effectively with distributed teams Security & Compliance: Follow secure coding practicesHandle sensitive data responsibly and confidentiallyComply with internal security policies and access controlsSupport logging, traceability, and audit requirements as needed Job Relations: Reports to Development Team LeadWorks closely with Senior Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infra teamsCoordinates with Technical Delivery Lead as required Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldFresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in software development Competencies: Willingness to learn and respond positively to feedbackGood organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and documentation abilityAnalytical thinking and a problem-solving mindsetAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment Skills: Backend: Basic knowledge of C# and .NET CoreFrontend: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and MetronicDatabase: Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL ServerReal-time: Exposure to SignalR is a plusVersion Control: Familiarity with Git (GitHub / Azure DevOps)CI/CD: Basic understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar toolsDocumentation: Familiarity with SharePoint or internal documentation toolsProject Management: Familiarity with Jira / Azure Boards Preferred Skills: Academic projects, internships, graduation projects, or personal projects are considered an advantage.
