As an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer SPACE (m/f/d), you combine strong hands-on expertise with the ability to take ownership of implementation topics and guide less experienced colleagues. You act as a bridge between security architecture and hands-on delivery within CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and container-based environments. You remain close to the technology while structuring work, reviewing results and ensuring high-quality implementation. At the same time, you take responsibility for driving technical topics forward within project teams. Aufgaben Design, implement and operate security controls within CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsIntegrate automated security checks (e.g. SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) into build and deployment processesAnalyse vulnerabilities and security incidents and implement effective mitigation measuresTranslate security architecture and requirements into concrete technical implementationsTake ownership of DevSecOps-related work packages within projectsGuide and support junior engineers in their day-to-day technical workReview implementations and ensure quality and consistency of delivered solutionsContribute to the secure design and operation of cloud and container environmentsCollaborate with development, operations and security teams to ensure end-to-end security integrationSupport the implementation of compliance requirements in technical environments (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI frameworks) Qualifikation Solid professional experience in DevOps, IT security and software engineeringStrong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Practical experience with security tooling (e.g. SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security conceptsStrong understanding of container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)Ability to translate security requirements into robust technical implementationsExperience in guiding or mentoring less experienced team membersStructured, reliable and solution-oriented way of workingDegree in computer science, IT security, engineering or a comparable qualificationVery good communication skills in English; working proficiency in German Nice To Have Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments (e.g. space, aerospace, defence)Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)Experience with monitoring and security observability (e.g. SIEM, logging, alerting)Knowledge of threat modelling and secure software development practicesWillingness and eligibility to undergo a security clearance process (subject to applicable regulations) Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action. 1976 gegründet und nach wie vor familiengeführt, ist CGI heute einer der weltweit größten unabhängigen Anbieter von IT und Business Consulting.
