QUANTITATIVE DEVELOPER FULL TIME GREATER BOSTON AREA The Company Our client is a global Private Equity firm based in Boston. The firm invests in all types of private equity funds, including venture capital and leveraged buyout funds in addition to directly in operating companies. Company Perks and Rewards Base salary ranging from $120,000 – $160,000 + BonusesBenefits, 401K, PTOHybrid work model (4 days in office)Career development and growth potentialRelocation package available The Role As a Developer on our specialized investments team, you will focus on bringing greenfield products and initiatives to life never realized in this part of the Private Equity industry. This is truly an opportunity for the developer who has a creative mindset and relishes on setting new benchmarks in an industry. Write Python tools and services that automate deployment, testing, and environment managementBuild web-based internal tooling for observability dashboards, deployment controls, and system health monitoringDevelop automated testing infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline logicBuild feature flag systems and gradual rollout tooling coordinated with our applicationsBuild monitoring and alerting systems that surface issues before they impact usersWrite infrastructure-as-code and environment automation to reduce drift and improve reproducibilityDevelop CLI tools and scripts that improve developer workflowsContribute to application code alongside platform tooling Your Qualifications 3-6 years software development experience,Bachelor of Science or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software EngineeringExperience building web applications (React/TypeScript preferred, or willingness to learn)Solid testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)Experience with automation and scripting for developer toolingUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline developmentFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Experience with observability tools (Application Insights, Datadog, Grafana, or similar)Understanding of git workflows and code review processesInterest in reliability engineering, deployment strategies, and developer experience Existing Position Vacancy: Yes I really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that I will only be contacting those that are applicable for the role!
