Android Developer — Mobile Engineering Team We're looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about building high-quality mobile experiences and wants to be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team. **THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE MON-FRI IN FORT LAUDERDALE. Only local candidates will be considered*** What You'll Be Doing Building, improving, and maintaining Android applications and their core componentsTurning product and design requirements into clean, reliable, and well-structured codeShipping new features while continuously improving the performance, security, and stability of existing functionalityTracking down and resolving bugs and technical issues across the codebaseEngaging in code reviews and helping raise the bar on engineering standards across the teamKeeping a pulse on the latest developments in the Android ecosystem and bringing fresh ideas to the table What We're Looking For A degree in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringAt least 2 years of hands-on Android development experienceStrong command of Kotlin or JavaSolid understanding of RESTful APIs and how mobile apps communicate with backend servicesHands-on experience with the Android SDK and Android StudioComfort working with Git or similar version control toolsA good eye for UI design principles and building layouts that work across screen sizes
