About The Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer (w/m/d) at Zasta GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in building and managing modern cloud infrastructures, particularly on AWS. You should have a strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems, and Git-based development workflows is essential. Experience with relational database management, monitoring, and logging of cloud applications is also required. A solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and automation principles is necessary to succeed in this role. Candidates should demonstrate an analytical, structured, and independent working style, coupled with enthusiasm for collaborative, interdisciplinary teamwork. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of containerized applications, and continuously improving our platform. You will automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD practices. Monitoring system health, logging, and performance analysis will be key to maintaining system stability and security. You will work closely with development and product teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our cloud environment to support business growth.
