About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the frontend architecture of our TypeScript/React application.
You will establish technical standards, design scalable UI patterns, and oversee the development of complex geospatial workflows utilizing Cesium.
Your expertise will guide the team in building high-performance, maintainable, and user-centric interfaces.
This hands-on, coding-intensive position requires a leader who excels in practical implementation, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will partner with leadership and engineering teams to prioritize features, ensure best practices, and deliver impactful product solutions that meet the needs of our mission-critical clients.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience developing and scaling front-end systemsDeep expertise in React and TypeScriptStrong architectural judgment with the ability to balance rapid development and long-term maintainabilityExperience leading complex UI projects, especially interactive, data-heavy applicationsProficiency with design systems and component libraries, particularly Material-UI (MUI)Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with minimal process overheadExcellent communication skills for aligning teams and stakeholders around technical decisionsEligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S.
