About The Role Our Manchester-based client is experiencing rapid expansion and is seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in optimizing and scaling their Azure-based infrastructure, with a focus on automation, security, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and managing cloud resources effectively. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.Proficiency with Azure DevOps and the development of CI/CD pipelines.Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker.Experience with version control systems like Git or Azure Repos.Understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.Knowledge of tools for code quality, security, and testing, such as SonarCloud and Snyk.Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.Automate build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning processes to enhance operational efficiency.Manage and orchestrate Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.Support applications hosted on Azure App Services, Function Apps, and other related services.Integrate automated testing, code quality, and security tools such as SonarCloud and Snyk into development workflows.Implement monitoring and incident response strategies using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure system reliability.Manage secrets, credentials, and access controls to uphold secure cloud practices.Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet business needs.
