Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Singapore.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software systems and back-end services that support Titanium Birch’s investment platform and internal tools.
Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, implementing APIs and integrations, optimizing performance and reliability, and participating in code reviews and architectural discussions.
The role involves collaborating closely with other engineers, investment professionals, and operations team members to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
The Software Engineer will also help improve development processes, monitor production systems, and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems concepts.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in building production-grade applications.Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.Experience with modern development tools and practices (version control, testing frameworks, CI/CD).Ability to analyze complex problems, propose clear solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working in a collaborative, high-trust environment that values curiosity, humility, and ownership.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and security best practices is an advantage.
