Position: OpenShift Kubernetes Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid Duration: Full Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Kubernetes Engineer to support administer and enhance containerized application platforms in enterprise environments The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Linux administration container technologies CICD automation and cloudnative infrastructure Primary Skills OpenShift Kubernetes Docker Linux Administration Container Platform Support CICD Helm Git Jenkins Ansible Monitoring Troubleshooting Key Responsibilities Administer manage and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in production environments Deploy configure and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Perform cluster upgrades patching capacity planning and platform health monitoring Troubleshoot application infrastructure networking and containerrelated issues Configure and manage OpenShift Operators Routes Projects Security Context Constraints SCC and RBAC Implement CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar DevOps tools Automate operational tasks using Ansible Shell Scripting or Python Manage cluster security secrets certificates and compliance requirements Work closely with development teams to onboard applications onto OpenShift platforms Monitor platform performance using Prometheus Grafana ELK Splunk or Dynatrace Participate in incident management root cause analysis and production support activities Ensure platform availability scalability and performance through proactive monitoring Skills Mandatory Skills : Docker, Helm Chart, Kubernetes, RedHat Linux Administrator, RedHat OpenShift Good to Have Skills : Ansible, Openshift
