About The Role
We are looking for a generalist senior product engineer to join our early team in New York City.
This role will work closely with our product and design team as well as the rest of our engineering team to build the user-facing aspects of the Starbridge platform.
You'll figure out ways to build highly performant, stable frontends that allow us to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and create structures that allow us to build and iterate quickly and be responsive to customer feedback.
You Might Be a Fit If You
Have 7+ years of software engineering experience working on modern web ecosystems.Have experience working in a startup or a smaller company with real engineering impact.Have 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Javascript, RESTful API, CSS, and other front-end technologies.Set the highest possible UX and UI bar for the work you do.Understands how code can affect performance and how to measure and optimize the work you do.Are a team player who is excited to do what it takes to make the team successful.
You're proactive both in how you work and how you communicate.Are comfortable in a work environment that blends sync and async communication and work.Are excited to build an in-person culture with us.
Preferably, you also have experience with at least some of the following:
Experience as a technical lead making architectural design decisions.Github CI/CD.

We'll then send you a programming challenge that consists of two parts: LeetCode and React.
Beyond that step, you will enter the main process, which consists of three interviews:

All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.
