Position Summary: The AWS DevOps Engineer designs, automates, secures, and supports AWS cloud environments and CI/CD platforms.
This role serves as a technical expert in Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud operations, security, observability, and deployment automation Primary Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure across Development, QA, and Production environments.Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and standardized deployments.Administer AWS IAM, networking, encryption, authentication, and secrets management while enforcing security best practices and least-privilege access.Support cloud platforms and services including RDS, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, and related operational tooling.Develop automation solutions using Python and Git-based workflows.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, reliability, and observability.Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.Participate in on-call support and other assigned duties.Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Hands-on experience administering AWS cloud environments.Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring, and cloud security principles.Experience supporting AWS services including RDS, EKS, Aurora, Glue, Athena, and CloudWatch.Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, including reusable modules and state management.Proficiency with Python scripting, Git source control, and CI/CD automation.Ability to diagnose and resolve production cloud infrastructure issues.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies.2+ years of professional experience using Terraform in production environments.
