As an Intermediate Salesforce Developer, you'll play a vital role in enhancing customer and associate experiences by developing innovative applications that directly contribute to the success and growth of Best Buy Canada.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.
What you’ll do as an intermediate salesforce developer:
Collaborate with developers on system and data integrations with the Salesforce platform.Develop, test, debug, and demonstrate your work in an agile environment.Contribute to team success by using your Salesforce domain expertise.Take initiatives in proposing and implementing application changes to address business needs.Strengthen your leadership skills by giving technical direction to peers.
What we’re looking for:
3 to 5 years of Salesforce development experience on Salesforce service cloud.Strong Apex programming experience or strong background in software development.Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and supporting customer service-related applications.Experience with LWC or front-end Salesforce development.Experience with API-led development and Microservices architecture.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes as part of the end-to-end application ownership.Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles, with the ability to work stablished application architectures and follow development best practices.Production support and operational support experience, including troubleshooting, incident management, and supporting applications in a live environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business partners, store associates, Salesforce support teams, and developers.Experience with data structures, algorithms, or distributed systems is an asset.Java development experience is an asset.Experience with DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Git, OpenShift, Kubernetes Docker), and deploying Java applications to cloud environments is a bonus.
