Job Summary We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at PartsAvatar. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our innovative online platform, ensuring that our customers have seamless access to automotive parts information and services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the automotive retail industry. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability. Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. Implement database solutions using PostgreSQL for data management and retrieval. Requirements Degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 3+ years of proven experience in software development. Proficiency in the Python programming language. Knowledge of PostgreSQL for database management is essential. Previous experience with cloud platforms. Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Drive solutions autonomously, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, as English is the primary working language across teams in Ontario and Quebec. French is considered an asset.
