Role Description: The Full Stack Engineer role is based in New York City.
The engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications that power Around’s local shopping platform, working across both front-end and back-end components.
Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user-facing features, developing and optimizing APIs and services, ensuring application performance and security, and collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements.
The role also involves participating in code reviews, writing tests, troubleshooting issues in production, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Must be based in NYCBachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science is a must but M.S.
is preferredMust know React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Expo for frontendMust know Hono.js, Cloudflare, MySQL (schema design, query optimization), Payments, Payment gateway integration experience with StripeMust know REST API design, Git, CI/CD fundamentals
User-Facing App (Frontend)
