This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees. What You Will Be Doing We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our development team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting business applications, APIs, automation solutions, and database integrations across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, modern web development, and backend integration development. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologiesBuild and support REST APIs and system integrationsDevelop and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and queriesCreate and support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to improve business processesDevelop frontend functionality using JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and related web technologiesTroubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysisParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectivesCollaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable code following development best practicesAssist with deployments, testing, documentation, and ongoing system enhancementsOther duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities Adherence to all Yancey Bros. Who We Are Looking For To be successful in this position you should be comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers in an Agile environment while contributing to both new development initiatives and ongoing support efforts. Education/Experience 3–6 years of professional software development experienceBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience Required Qualifications/Skills Strong experience with C# and .NET developmentExperience building and consuming REST APIsStrong understanding of JavaScript and JSONHands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power AutomateExperience with Microsoft SQL Server 2025 and earlier versionsAbility to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, viewsUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologiesExperience using source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOpsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesProactive in learning and highly self-motivatedExcellent problem-solving skills using best practices to architect complete solutionsDemonstrates commitment to customer satisfaction and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentExcellent organizational and project management abilities, exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills along with strong analytical skills requiredCross-Platform Development, API, and Integration Knowledge Preferred Qualifications/Skills Experience with Azure Fabric and virtual tables.Familiarity with Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform integrations Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes Knowledge of Power BI or reporting tools Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions Occasionally Lift/Carry/Lower 1 – 15 Lbs, seldom Lift/Carry/Lower 15 – 30 Lbs, never Lift/Carry/Lower +30 Lbs.
