Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design, develop, and operate modern web applications across a SaaS portfolio, working across frontend, backend, and DevOps layers. • Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences into products, leveraging LLMs, retrieval, tool-use, and structured workflows to add value for healthcare professionals and patients. • Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity, contributing to shared agents, skills, pipelines, and harnesses. • Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to enhance engineering and AI engineering quality and shape best practices for agentic applications. • Understand healthcare workflows and maintain a user-centric, outcome-driven mindset in feature development. What You'll Need • Several years of senior-level experience in full-stack engineering of modern web applications, with deep expertise in at least one frontend stack (React or Angular) and one backend stack (Java/Spring Boot or Python). • A university degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field, with above-average academic performance. • Solid practical experience with core technologies such as React/Angular, Java Spring Boot, Python, Kafka, Terraform, and cloud/DevOps environments (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD). • Proven experience in effectively applying AI within software engineering, ideally including agentic coding tools and experience in designing AI pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering. • Fluent German and English language skills, strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for innovation, high proactivity, and excellent collaboration skills.
