Description

We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join a team responsible for maintaining secure, stable, and highly available Linux-based environments. The role focuses on Linux administration, vulnerability fixing, automation, and operational support for application and middleware platforms. Your tasks Administering, monitoring, and maintaining Linux environments, with a strong focus on stability, availability, and securityIdentifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and application issues in Linux-based environmentsSupporting vulnerability management activities, including patching, hardening, and remediation of security findingsCreating and maintaining automation scripts to improve daily administration and operational processesSupporting Jenkins-related automation used for deployment, maintenance, or operational workflowsMaintaining and troubleshooting application server components, especially Tomcat/JWSCooperating with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational continuityAnalyzing logs, incidents, and monitoring alerts to identify root causes and prevent recurring issuesPreparing and maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and security-related instructions Requirements At least 5 years of strong hands-on experience in Linux administrationVery good understanding of system security, vulnerability fixing, patching, and hardening practicesPractical experience in scripting and automation, e.g., Bash, Python, or AnsibleExperience with Jenkins administration or support of Jenkins-based automation processesKnowledge of Tomcat/JWS administration, troubleshooting, and operational supportAbility to analyze logs, diagnose incidents, and resolve technical issues independentlyGood communication skills and readiness to cooperate with technical stakeholders in an international environmentReliability, ownership, and a proactive approach to improving operational processesKnowledge of IBM integration technologies and middleware solutionsHands-on experience with IBM MQ administration in Linux/RHEL environmentsAvailability to work in a hybrid model (2 days per week from the client’s office in Cracow) Nice to have Experience with IBM products such as WebSphere Liberty Profile (WLP) or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)Previous experience in banking or other highly regulated enterprise environmentsKnowledge of additional automation, configuration management, or monitoring toolsBackground in SWIFT infrastructure and related integrationsRed Hat or other Linux-related certification Job no.
